NBA players are known to star in commercials for various brands. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is a veteran in that segment. With numerous advertisements under his belt, O’Neal recently showed some love to one of LeBron James’ old Nike Ads that just resurfaced. And it wasn’t just O’Neal showing James’ acting skills appreciation, even fans felt nostalgic after seeing LeBron’s old ads from back in his Cleveland Days. However, they naturally came up with hilarious jokes as well to troll the Los Angeles Lakers superstar.

The ad aired at the start of the 2006-07 NBA season, featuring LeBron James’ Zoom 4 edition that had just been released that year.

The commercial received so much love because it did not aim at highlighting the shoe. Instead, it tried to capture LeBron’s different personas in the advertisement. One was James’ child-like persona, the other captured his competitive side. The two other were James portraying his old soul and then the flashy side of ‘The King.’

Shaquille O’Neal shared the video on his Instagram stories without a caption though. But O’Neal didn’t need to write something to display how much he loved the nostalgic commercial featuring James.

Fans on the other hand enjoyed seeing one of James’ old iconic ads before he started featuring in dozens of others. One fan commented, “Why he have better acting here than he had in space jam.”

Another fan commented, “Lebron has so many legendary commercials. Off the top of my head I remember the this and the sprite cranberry but they saidly took them both off television.”

Fans couldn’t help but appreciate the commercials that were aired back in the day. Even James’ old soul persona saying, “You think Michael [Jordan] trained in a pool?” was a classic reference.

Even though many NBA players have started featuring in various commercials for various brands outside of basketball, there have been a few that just stood apart from others. And LeBron James is surely one of them.
