Despite being a suitable candidate to join the 1992 Dream Team, which famously won Gold at the Barcelona Olympics, Thomas was left off the team. A snub that many believe was orchestrated by Michael Jordan. The 2020 Netflix series also touched on the theory that Thomas was behind a conspiracy to freeze Jordan out of the 1985 All-Star Game, an allegation that Thomas has denied.
Isaiah Thomas recently appeared on the Showtime basketball podcast, where he addressed his long-standing rivalry with Michael Jordan. The conversation was sparked by Magic Johnson’s efforts to patch things up between Thomas and Jordan. Thomas expressed his frustration with Jordan’s past comments about him, which were made on national television.
He stated, “You got on National Television and you call me a**hole and then you said you hated me. You said that on National Television. Now if you didn’t mean it, get on national television and say that, and apologize for it. Now if you meant it, let it ride as it is.”?

Thomas emphasized that he is willing to have a conversation with anyone, but he does not appreciate people talking behind his back. He urged Jordan to either publicly apologize or stand by his words. The Pistons legend also pointed out that Jordan’s comments have caused him to continually face questions about their rivalry.?
He stated, “Now I’m the one who’s looking like, Oh, why are you talking about Jordan! Why are you saying it right when you put that out there.? And now you at home or on your golf course or doing whatever you do and now I gotta answer this BS question.”?

Thomas pointed out the Jordan’s behavior has made him look like the bad guy. Therefore, he accepts a public apology and an admission of guilt to let it all go.
