Earlier this month, two legends came together to help kids in Long Beach. The first came from the basketball hardwoods, while the second came from the music industry. In the wake of the Golden State Warriors championship, four-time NBA winner Stephen Curry continues to win the hearts of people.?
He had company this time, and that was none other than the entertainment icon Snoop Dogg. On their respective visit to the Boys & Girls Club in Long Beach, the purpose was to unveil a newly renovated court in Martin Luther King Jr. Park.?

In addition to that, they spoke about the importance of community during their visit. According to reports, the Curry brand took the initiative to repair the court. Over 20 “safe places” will be renovated by UnderArmour and the basketball star by 2025 in order to help children achieve their dreams.?

More than 70 children at the club were surprised during his visit to the court, designed by comic book artist Damion Scott. “We want to provide a space where you can come enjoy yourself and get lost in the fun, lost in the competition, invest in yourselves, and be around a lot of amazing coaches and programs,” Curry explained.?
This is the beginning of hopefully an amazing journey, not just in sports but in life,” he added.?In the meantime, they were also seen playing basketball with the children.

Currently, a video has gone viral on social media of rapper Snoop Dogg ripping Stephen Curry for lying to the camera about going up against children on the court. It was quite funny how they played with each other and roasted each other afterward. The video was shared on Curry’s Instagram story after it became viral on the internet.?

They both were sharing their experiences as they were giving an interview, and Curry mentioned: “I didn’t plan on getting out there and hoopin’.” He was interrupted by Snoop Dogg, who hilariously said: “You lying Steph, you locked up about 50 kids”.?
During their visit, it appeared that they had a lot of fun. As for Snoop Dogg, the Long Beach native, he was delighted as he grew up in the same community.?
