As the superstars LeBron James and Stephen Curry are once again locking horns in a playoff matchup, the Los Angeles Lakers-Golden State Warriors series has taken center stage in the NBA world. Spicing the buzz around the sensational matchup, the first two games swung like a pendulum between the powerhouses in the West. Though the Warriors have redeemed themselves in Game 2, in front of the Bay Area crowd, an incident involving LeBron James and an NBA veteran has now become the talk of the town among NBA fans.
Having played 11 minutes for the triumphant Warriors, Gary Payton II had added seven points and five rebounds to his tally. His father, Gary Payton, was courtside to witness the action. Apart from cheering his son on, the Hall of Famer took a moment to exchange some words with LeBron James as he was leaving the court. Since nobody knows what Payton told LeBron, fans are now trying to guess if there was some trash-talking involved.
