Spicing the buzz around the sensational matchup, the first two games swung like a pendulum between the powerhouses in the West. Having played 11 minutes for the triumphant Warriors, Gary Payton II had added seven points and five rebounds to his tally. His father, Gary Payton, was courtside to witness the action. Apart from cheering his son on, the Hall of Famer took a moment to exchange some words with LeBron James as he was leaving the court. At half time, the Lakers superstar headed to the locker room, but was stopped mid-way by Gary Payton. The 2006 NBA champion quickly said something to LeBron James. King James nodded back and continued to walk towards the tunnel. This quick half time exchange is now doing rounds on Twitter. ClutchPoints tweeted a footage of the same and captioned the tweet, “What do you think Gary Payton told LeBron James here as the Lakers trail the Warriors by 11 at the half?,”
