Michael was a mentor to Kobe Bryant. He helped him, guided him, and gave him workout tips for his game, which eventually resulted in Kobe winning five NBA championships. But during an interview with Stuart Scott in 2010, Jordan gave LeBron a crucial lesson that has worked for him throughout his career so far.

Stuart asked Jordan as he won his first NBA championship in his seventh year in the league, what advice he had for LeBron, as he was on the verge of winning his first championship. Jordan went on to say, ?first one?s always the hardest. And then you know, as you get that first, the expectation comes and now you gotta live with those.?

Michael Jordan was right when he said that expectations start to build up once a player wins their first championship. Fans start hoping for more, and analysts start doubting the player if he doesn?t win, so a player has to live with those expectations as his career progresses.

He went on to win two back-to-back championships with the Miami Heat before coming back to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He then ended a 52-year championship drought for the city of Cleveland when he brought the NBA championship back to ?The Land.?

And in recent times, James won an NBA championship with his new team, the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020. James has been living up to the expectations since his first championship with the Heat. at 37 years of age, LeBron James still looks like he?s in his prime and hasn?t lost any step in his game.
