Los Angeles Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook has been receiving heavy criticism for his performances since the start of the season. Westbrook has been struggling on the court of late. And some questionable plays by him in the Lakers’ most recent loss to the Portland Trail Blazers have highlighted his outspoken behavior even more.

Now, either Westbrook can follow through on what Johnson said to him or lash out. We’ll have to wait and see how that unfolds. However, fans have already given their verdict.

One fan tweeted, “You gone get crucified either way. Russell Westbrook was once an offensive beast. His energy and relentlessness on offense were never-ending, and he was known as a walking triple-double machine. But that started being used against him.

Fans and analysts started calling him a player who only cares about his stats. Russell’s best days in the NBA were with the Oklahoma City Thunder. And although nobody expects him to return to that level, fans, analysts, coaching staff, and probably even his teammates, expect him to make smart decisions on the court.
