Since being drafted in 2003, LeBron James has grabbed the NBA stage with both hands. Over the years, the man would become a superstar of the league and a legend of the game. Evidently, with 4 titles and 4 MVPs, the ‘King’ has proven repeatedly why he’s among the league’s best. Even at 37 years old, he doesn’t seem to stop. He continues to put up big numbers in time-turning fashion. Subsequently, this has led to him passing Karl Malone for 2nd place on the All-Time Scoring List.

Fans React to the Lakers Honoring LeBron James
Many fans did not share the same opinion of praise for LeBron. They stated the number of points LeBron scored for the Lakers, the standing of the team at present, and the absence of the ‘King’ in the game against the 76ers as reasons for standing against the Lakers honoring LeBron.
Really gave this a ceremony? He barely got 5000 points with you and the team is 10 below 500, you giving Melo this treatment if miraculously passes Shaq for 8th in 10 games???

Moreover, LeBron did not even play in the game. At this point, the aim of the franchise is to make it to the playoffs and have a successful run there. However, dropping games is not the right way to go.

With 9 games left in the regular season for the Lakers, they must aim to win all of them. However, this will require explosive performances from LeBron himself as the Lakers take on powerhouses such as the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and Dallas Mavericks. Moreover, they must also secure a win over the New Orleans Pelicans to avoid a slip in the standings. Furthermore, the franchise will also hope for Anthony Davis to return soon and ensure that no more players fall to injuries.
