Legends are made when the lights are shining brightest and the pressure is at its peak. Over the years, NBA fans have been lucky to witness the greatness of Stephen Curry. The Baby Faced Assassin somehow managed to add to his already-established legacy by winning the championship last year, and he hasn’t looked back since. The Sacramento Kings fans shouldn’t be disappointed as they came second only to greatness. Curry’s biggest rivals on the court over the years couldn’t help but bow down to the two-time MVP after his historic performance on Sunday.
The Golden State Warriors not only took care of business on the offensive end but also locked up the Sacramento Kings on defense. A huge disparity in both field goal and three-point shooting percentage just goes to show that the Warriors completely dominated the young Kings team. However, if this game could be remembered for one thing, it just has to be Curry’s 50-point masterpiece.

Stephen Curry left no stone unturned
Apart from Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Kevon Looney, and Klay Thompson were the only players to score in double-digits. And it seemed as if the rest of the Golden State roster was having an off-night.

This prompted Stephen Curry to take the offensive load onto himself and notch the highest-scoring Game 7 in league history. His 50 points came with seven three-pointers and a total of 20 made field goals as well. Apart from his 50 points, Curry only had one turnover throughout the game which only goes to show how locked in and focused he was.

Even from beyond the arc, Golden State had a huge advantage. They finished the game shooting 32.6% while the Kings only shot 25% from three. The Warriors had the upper hand in rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and even free-throw percentage. Nonetheless, the full focus after the game was on Steph.
