Kevin Durant has once again engaged in a public squabble with a Twitter user as NBA fans await his next move before the start of the season. The NBA media has been discussing NBA trade rumors involving the Brooklyn Nets superstar for over a month now. However, Kevin Durant attracted headlines today for a row with a fan on social media.

NBA teams have been on the lookout for KD all summer. However, they have failed to satisfy the overarching expectations of the Nets front office. On the other hand, quite unsurprisingly, the Brooklyn Nets haven’t displayed any urgency to get rid of their best player.

Because they are well aware that the wrong trade involving Durant could upend the food chain of the league. As a result, trade talks are pretty much stagnant at the moment with less than two months remaining from training camp.

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant got himself entangled in a Twitter row with an NBA fan. The Twitter user took a jibe at KD after mentioning that his car broke down in the morning causing a whole lot of problems in his daily route.

However, he is not complaining by any means because unlike Durant, he likes to take the hard road ahead. In response, the 33-year-old superstar tweeted, “U enjoy having a shitty car and getting to work and not being able to connect to the internet?”

As it turns out, the fan wanted to make fun of Kevin Durant’s tendency to side with the competition to secure a better shot at winning. Many NBA analysts, including Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, have called out the two-time NBA champion for it. However, KD didn’t hesitate to clap back at him.

Meanwhile, recent reports have noticeda lot of pessimism” regarding a potential Kevin Durant deal in the future. In other words, very few teams have the resources to meet the appetite of the Nets’ demands.

If that remains the case, it would be in KD’s best interests to stay with the Nets rather than move to a weaker team. Moreover, reports have also suggested that Kyrie Irving is “in a good place and comfortable” with Brooklyn right now.
