This is how it all unfolded when Warriors executive Kirk Lacob asked McGuigan to stand near the floor during the ring ceremony.

This was so she could hold the championship ring of general manager Bob Myers. She wasn’t aware of what was happening at first, but when Curry announced her name among the capacity Chase Center crowd, she was shocked.
