Shaquille O’Neal is not too concerned about what people think of him. The Big Aristotle revealed in The Big Podcast’s latest episode?with Shaq. O’Neal had been the primary target of criticism for a comment he made about Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving. Earlier, the Los Angeles Lakers legend had called Irving an idiot for his antisemitic comments. Since then, he has had to face the wrath of the NBA community for making an insensitive comment. In his podcast episode, O’Neal addressed the situation and cleared up the misunderstanding.

The four-time NBA champion clarified that he only called Kyrie Irving an idiot because the Brooklyn Nets guard put himself in jeopardy. O’Neal explained that there were plenty of controversial movies. While being a theatre owner, he would let it screen in his theatres or watch it himself but he wouldn’t go online and influence other people to do the same. Irving has millions of followers, therefore, he should not have talked about a controversial piece on a public platform. Shaq’s co-host Nischelle Turner said that it was a good thing Shaq cleared out the matter since many people had questioned his comment. However, the Los Angeles Lakers legend said that he did not care what others felt about his comment.

“You should understand something about me. When you watch my documentary, I’ve been criticized since nine years old. I’m 50 years old, I got experience in this sh*t. You ain’t gonna hurt my feelings,” said Shaq.
Furthermore, O’Neal added that people’s comments don’t hurt because he knew what he represented, which was helping people.

The annual event known as “Thanks for giving food giveaway”?was held in McDonough. Shaq teamed up with Henry County Sheriff’s office and gave away all the needed grocery items needed for a proper Thanksgiving dinner.
