The high school sweethearts LeBron James and Savannah James have been together for almost twenty years. From an unplanned pregnancy to being married for a decade, the couple has been through it all. Savannah James recently revealed her “Oh Sh*t” moment with the love of her life and also how she didn’t know what the future had in store for her husband.

Savannah James opens up about her high school love story and subsequent realization

LeBron James and Savannah James’ history dates back to their high school years.? While Lebron played on the high school basketball team, Savannah had her own niche. She was a cheerleader and also played softball. LeBron was instantly smitten by her. However, the same cannot be said for Savannah.

Savannah initially showed no interest in the King. LeBron, however, even went to the extent of asking a mutual friend for Savannah’s number. While Savannah did not hand hers out, she noted down LeBron’s number. The young prodigy even invited her to watch him play. And it was only after watching him play that Savannah started showing interest in LeBron.

In a recent interview with The Cut, Savannah James revealed her ‘Oh Sh*t’ moment with her husband.

The interviewer bought up how she has been with Lebron since high school. She asked him at what point did she realize that she would be with him on this wild ride.

Savannah said,?“Everything was definitely in the moment. We were two kids who started dating, as any two high-school kids would. Believe it or not, I didn?t know that he was going to be what he is today.”

The interviewer also asked about her ?Oh sh*t? moment? The moment she realized that she was in love with possibly the greatest player of all time.

She replied,?“I don?t know if I took it that seriously even then. You know what I?m saying? I really, truly didn?t know.”

Fast forward to 2023, and the couple are now married with three kids. Along with their youngest daughter Zhuri James, they have 2 sons, Bronny and Bryce Maximus James. Both of their sons play basketball. Bronny has even committed to playing basketball for the USC Trojans.
