The NBA trade deadline day has finally arrived and it lived up to its hype. Teams were expected to make some major decisions as the 2022-23 NBA season moves into its next stage. Subsequently, the teams lived up to the predictions and delivered some jaw-dropping trades to excite, or in this case scare some fans. The teams in the Western Conference made some big moves for their teams before the deadline day, and according to a New Orleans Pelicans star Ja Morant is to be blamed for it.
Ja Morant in his statement last month mentioned that no team in the Western Conference scared him. In a hilarious tweet recently, Pelicans star CJ McCollum pointed out that Morant’s statement was taken personally by Western Conference owners, and fans agreed in unison.

In his interview with ESPN, Ja Morant made it unmistakably clear to teams what they needed to concentrate on. When asked about the teams that he studies very carefully, he had a clear answer.
“Celtics” said G12. The interviewer further asked if no one in the Western Conference was concerning enough. To which Morant was even more savage, “Nah, I’m fine in the West” said Morant.
However, Morant might have to rethink his statement as now there are a lot of teams that should scare him.
