Everyone has a different take on the all-time teams they would assemble from a plethora of NBA legends. With fans and players having a preference for their favorite players, the comparisons do become hard to judge. Shaquille O’Neal has a take of his own that he recently shared on Twitter. However, the team assembled and the comparison with the team facing him has fans slamming Shaq for his take on social media. Even with having greats like Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson on his squad, to name a few. 

There are a number of players that are considered all-time greats. Various factors usually come in while assembling a team with the best players. The number of championships won, their stats, and the overall talent possessed by the players are some categories often considered.

A picture posted by Shaquille O’Neal that features some of the best players going at each other in a five-on-five game has drawn some criticism. The team featured Shaquille O’Neal with Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Larry Bird.

And the team going up against him has LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid, Kevin Durant, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Now, Shaq captioned the image, “Four games to two. You already know who I’m with. Don’t ask me. Also who’s guarding me?!”

But fans on the other hand chose to try and humble Shaq on his take. One fan tweeted, “Y’all are getting absolutely cooked.”

Fans seemed to be divided in the middle when coming up with who comes out on top, the legends or the modern NBA greats.

The teams compared are clearly a showdown between some of the modern greats of the NBA against some legends from the 80s and 90s eras. Now, the argument on who would win comes down to different aspects. 

The modern-era team arguably has the advantage of lights-out shooting on their side. However, the legends team has the physicality and a hard-nosed style of gameplay going for them. Both teams have certain advantages over the other.
