Wrestlemania 39 culminated last night at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California after entertaining fans for two days. Many WWE superstars locked horns with each other. Including the two-time Women’s World Champion, Natalie Katherine Neidhart-Wilson, known by her ring name Natalya. Before starting her fight in the ring, Nattie paid Kobe Bryant‘s daughter, Gigi Bryant, a tribute. Moreover, the wrestler’s act prompted a reaction from Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant.

Natalya is proclaimed to be one of the best female wrestlers currently. The now 40-year-old is signed to WWE and could be seen performing weekly on Smackdown. Moreover, at Wrestlemania 39, the Canadian wrestler was part of the Women’s Wrestlemania Showcase fatal four-way tag-team match.

Natalya recently shared a myriad of posts on her Instagram stories. In one of those slides, she shared a picture of her wrist, wearing a bracelet. The former WWE Women’s tag-team champion captioned the post, “I’ll be wearing this bracelet at #WrestleMania tonight (heart emoji). It always brings me luck and positive energy ( a string of heart emojis). #playgigisway”

The bracelet she wore was a reproduced version of Gigi’s red bracelet. In 2020, the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s wife announced that these red bracelets would be reproduced to commemorate her daughter’s legacy. Here’s a look at the bracelet:

Vanessa re-shared the post on her Instagram story. The 40-year-old seemingly loved the WWE star’s gesture. On the other hand, Nattie’s caption suggested that Gigi Bryant’s iconic red bracelet was her good luck charm and would infuse her with a lot of positive energy. However, the bracelet failed to do its magic for the Canadian last night as she and her teammate, Shotzi, were handed a defeat by Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. Nevertheless, this is not the first time the WWE star has honored the Bryant family.

Natalya paid tribute to Kobe Bryant and his daughter

Nattie honored Bryant and her daughter just a few days after they passed away in January 2020. The two-time women’s World Champion wore yellow and purple stripes on her hand while crossing swords with Asuka on Raw on February 3, 2020.
