Larsa Pippen caused some controversy when she revealed she was dating Marcus Jordan, the 32-year-old son of Michael Jordan. Marcus is 16 years younger than Larsa.  Larsa opened up about her relationship recently. She spoke about her views on going into a relationship. She revealed aspects of dating someone older or younger in the podcast ‘Separation Anxiety with Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’.

Larsa Pippen reveals what she looks for to get into a relationship

Larsa said, “I never really said, when I was single, I never said, I want to date a younger guy. That was never on my mind. I never cared to date someone younger, someone older. I would have dated someone fifteen, sixteen years, twenty years older than me, or, someone fifteen, sixteen years younger than me. I would never, in my mind, what was I looking for. Age was not one of those things that were on my list. It was more about character, a person, you know, just like who they were, you know,  a human being, rather than, how old are they.”

During the podcast, Pippen and Marcus also discuss how they are different as people and what makes them tick together. The two revealed what they thought was the best part about each other. The discussion then turned to the age gap.

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan have been in a relationship for a year now

48-year-old Pippen and 32-year-old Marcus are part of the same social circle. Her ex-husband Scottie Pippen, with whom she shares four children, played with Marcus’s father, the legendary Michael Jordan with the Chicago Bulls.

The two don’t have the best relations currently, leading to more fan chatter about the relationship between Jordan’s son and Pippen’s ex-wife.

Pippen had earlier told The Tamron Hall Show that while many people think they have known each other for their whole lives, they only met four years ago at a party.  Pippen and Marcus had maintained that they were just friends until Pippen made the relationship Instagram official on Valentine’s Day.  Since then, they have faced some backlash, but have stayed true to each other.

The two have been facing a backlash after their relationship came out in the open, but they have handled it well. Here’s wishing many years of blissful love to this couple. Fans are not very happy with this relationship, with Michael Jordan fans venting it all out on Twitter.
