The Golden State Warriors recently unveiled their Jersey lineup for the 2022-23 season. A throwback jersey took social media by storm, featuring Warriors legend Chris Mullin. One can only imagine how Stephen Curry would look in a vintage Golden State Warriors jersey from 1975.

Another jersey recently featured the Warriors’ colors blue and yellow with the words’ Golden State’ etched across. These jerseys were first unveiled by the rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody. The vintage jersey is part of their ‘Statement edition’ collection.

Jersey was released on August 2nd this year, as a throwback to when the Warriors adopted the ‘Golden State Warriors’ name back in 1971. The same jersey colorway is featured on their ‘Classic edition’ jersey with a light tweak. Chris Mullin donned the jersey he once wore on the court with the word ‘Warriors’ written. The final jersey that Dub nation is waiting for is the ‘City edition.’

Stephen Curry has never worn any of these colorways before, so it would be interesting to see him in these vintage designs. Another tweet by the Golden State Warriors handle featured Stephen Curry looking at the Mullin Jersey as he paid tribute to the trio of Mullin, Tim Hardaway, and Mitch Richmond.

It was eerie to see Chris Mullin in a Warriors jersey again! The former Warriors and Hall of Famer is a Bay area icon and played 13 seasons for the Warriors and is probably behind Stephen Curry as the face of the franchise.?

Fans on NBA Twitter were not in approval, unlike Stephen Curry. here are some of their reactions;

The Golden State Warrior’s Twitter poked the NBA star for looking like a natural wearing the Warriors jersey. They bantered around Mullin looking authentic in the Golden State apparel like the Hall of Famer did not play 13 seasons for the Warriors.
