A hamstring injury against the Philadelphia 76ers on January 2 has reduced expectations of Williamson. Fans who were rooting for a comeback before the All-Star game, continue to stay disappointed after the powerhouse decided to sit out for his second All-Star game.?
However, Williamson’s attempt to create hype for possible participation in the 2024 Slam Dunk contest was not received well by the fans. The 284 lbs. shared,?“I put heavy consideration into doing the dunk contest. I feel like if I’m gonna do it, I’ll probably do it next year.?.
