According to a prediction made by Bleacher Report’s Dan Favre, “The Washington Wizards emerge as a finalist, and potentially acquire, Alex Caruso, Mike Conley, Kyle Lowry, D’Angelo Russell, Collin Sexton or Fred VanVleet.”
Further, Favre narrowed down the list of trade targets for Washington. The NBA analyst suggested that the Wizards could soon end up shipping away Kyle Kuzma, Bradley Beal, and Kristaps Porzingis during their attempt to rebuild the franchise. What could the Wizards offer for Caruso?
The best offering the Washington Wizards have in the bag is their 2026 first-round pick. Moreover, Favre felt that the Wizards could offer conditional selections if their obligation to the New York Knicks played out well.
Additionally, Washington also has Daniel Gafford, Deni Avdija, and Corey Krispert, apart from the short-term contracts of Monte Morris and Delon Wright, along with an expiring deal involving Will Barton. Thus, the Wizards might devise a lucrative trade package to get Alex Caruso on their side before the deadline, as per rumors
