While that stands as a huge question, the 33-year-old star continues to tease the fans about his future in the Bay. The recent unexpected exits of a few core members did a number on the Dub Nation fans. As they gear up for one of the most crucial off-seasons in their history, an update from a veteran forward that hinted at an exit sent the fans into denial yet again. However, a recent Instagram story might again instill hope in the Warriors buffs.

The Warriors disappointingly lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Conference Semis. The elimination was followed by the departure of GM Bob Myers, who played a crucial role in building the iconic dynasty. With the way things are at the moment, it doesn’t look like Myers will be the only one on his way out.

After their fourth title, the Golden State Warriors appreciated newbies Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins with max contracts. As Curry continues with a super-max contract, Draymond Green‘s new deal stands in doubt. Though Green could have exercised his $27 million player option, the defensive forward decided to change his plans.

Two days back Green declined the player option to enter the free agency for the upcoming season. Over a decade, Green has played a crucial role in the Warriors dynasty alongside the Splash Brothers. Considering his excellence in regulation and defense, teams desperate for these qualities like the Mavericks and the Suns could find a deal for Green. Nonetheless, there is a good chance he might just return to the Warriors, considering his Instagram story. 

The 33-year-old shared a viral parade clip in his story, featuring Curry with the fans. Green added, What a time!!!, reminiscing about his favorite moments after winning the fourth title.

Standing as an anchor of the team, Stephen Curry received a super-max contract before his latest championship season. The massive contract assures him $215 million for four years till 2026. Looks like Green wants something similar.

Green has played his part in all four championships. However, considering the salary cap and tax problems of the Warriors, there is a high chance they might not satisfy the 2017 DPOY.
