For the past few weeks, the NBA world has been curious as to what really is brewing between LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The superstar duo has been playing together for the Los Angeles Lakers since 2019 and led the team to the franchise’s 17th championship title in 2020. However, the relationship between the two was repeatedly questioned after King James became the new All-Time Scoring Leader. Thus began the circulation of several rumors that were finally shut down by LeBron himself with a little help from Jay Z and Kanye West.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been gradually climbing up the ladder, thus moving one step closer to the playoffs. In contrast to their rough beginning, the Lakers are seemingly having a good run as the league prepares for the postseason. The Lakers recently defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder and won their third straight game in LeBron James‘ absence. The 19x NBA All-Star has been on the sidelines since February 26 due to a foot injury.
