Wilt Chamberlain is undoubtedly one of the most heroic players to ever set foot in the court. He was active in the back in the 1960’s. Most of the records that the young players are beating right now were set by him back then. However, there are some of his records that no one could potentially beat.

Wilt Chamberlain was around 7 foot 1, one of the tallest players in the league. However, he moved as swiftly as a point guard. Moreover, he attacked the rim like a beast. He is not only considered one of the best players, but also the best rebounder and scorer to ever exist in the league.

Wilt Chamberlain once reflected on his 100 point game. It is important to mention that he is the only player who has ever achieved the feat of scoring 100 points in a single game. While reflecting on that game, Wilt seemed more disappointed than proud.
Wilt claimed that he was not playing the game as he usually did. “After I got into the 80s, I pushed for 100 and it destroyed the game because I took shots that I normally never would”, said Wilt. He recorded a total of 63 shots in that game. He had the ball a lot in his hand.

Wilt continued to say “you take that many shots on the playground and no one ever wants you on their team again”.?This game set a legacy for Wilt, however, he was a bit embarrassed by the game.

Wilt Chamberlain had one of the craziest careers ever. There are some stats attached to him which, if you looked at them, you won’t be able to believe. He once averaged 48.5 minutes per game. That seems impossible since a game only lasts 48 minutes. However, Wilt managed to break this feat by playing every game, most of which went into overtime.

This shows his tenacity and ferocity on the court. Alongside this, he also won various other accolades like most points scored by a rookie in a single game i.e. 58. During his prime years, he was a man playing among boys, as no one could match up to his skill. Acknowledging his exceptional performance, he is often considered Michael Jordan’s biggest rival in the greatest of all-time debate.

Chamberlain has been the scoring leader seven times in his career. Additionally, he was the rebounding leader for 11 seasons. He has also won the MVP award 4 times. This is just a limited list of his achievements. There are a lot more records that he has accomplished.
