The Dubs clearly are a one-man team at the moment, as they are overly reliant on the attacking prowess of Steph Curry. In their three consecutive wins against the Thunder and the Jazz, Curry put up video game numbers scoring 34, 49 and 36 points, respectively. His 36 point performance in their latest 119-116, victory, had an amazing game winner against the top-seeded Jazz. With these three wins, the Dubs now are a game ahead of the Grizzlies, and a win against the Suns will be essential to widen the gap.

After taking the first seed from the Jazz, the Suns did hope that they could maintain their winning run and clinch the top seed in the West. But things haven’t worked out for the Suns. Despite winning three games of their last five, the Suns conceded two games despite being the favorites to win the games. In their most recent game against the Lakers they simply had no answer for Lakers’ superstar Anthony Davis who dropped 42 points in a 123-110 victory for the champions.

Predictions

The Warriors face off against the top two seeded Suns side. Given their recent form and talisman Curry’s form, the Dubs have a slight edge in this match-up, but if the Suns can turn it on in this game, they can surely win this game.
