The NBA season is coming to the end with the offseason about to begin. Many rosters will see players come and go in the offseason. Every team will look to add firepower and strengthen up their team, and teams like the Lakers and Denver will look to add new players who could help them win.

However, the Brooklyn Nets did not wait until the offseason to make this happen. As if Kyrie And Kevin Durant were not enough, they added former MVP, James Harden in their lineup. In addition, they also signed Blake Griffin from Detroit.

This left a lot of questions about point guard Spencer Dinwiddie’s future in Brooklyn. It was recently reported that Dinwiddie wanted to move to an LA team and that could well be a possibility this off-season. Spencer suffered a partial ACL tear in December last year and has been out ever since.

Last season, Dinwiddie unarguably had his best year as he averaged 20.6 points on 41% shooting. He is also a good defensive player. Now, with James Harden and Kyrie Irving both on the spot, where will Spencer Dinwiddie fit?

Could Spencer Dinwiddie go to the Lakers after all?

Brooklyn Nets have stacked their team and made it an all-star studded team. They have gone all out with The Big 3 of James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant. With all these names in Brooklyn, Spencer’s spot as a guard is most definitely off the cards.

Looking at this, Spencer may want to go to a team where he gets playing time and also contend for the championship.

The one destination that may be likely is the Los Angeles Lakers. Back in 2013, Spencer tweeted saying that he is coming to the Lakers. This tweet is now resurfacing all over Twitter as the rumors of him wanting to a LA team are in the air.

If Spencer joins the Lakers, would they be better? LeBron James desperately needs a point guard who can score when needed. Dennis Schroder did not show up the way everyone thought he would, and they could let him go in this offseason.

Spencer is also a decent shooter from beyond the arc, shooting a consistent 33%. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis going on the inside, Dinwiddie could add the perimeter threat the Lakers are lacking.

If Spencer does request to be traded, the Lakers would be the favorites to land him. Do you think Spencer Dinwiddie will don the Purple and Gold next season?
