The Dallas Mavericks, who have struggled for consistency this season with their record just crossing .500, take on the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight. While Luka Doncic has been playing at an excellent level, the rest of the team has not been doing enough to complement his work.
The Oklahoma City Thunder, on the other hand, are clearly a team in transition. They currently hold a 19-26 record, which is admirable given their modest expectations this season. The team has been working towards reducing their roster age, as they look forward to the next NBA draft to bring in a new franchise superstar.

The Dallas Mavericks have a few injury concerns heading into the game. Tyrell Terry and Willie Caulie-Stein are both out of the game against the Dallas Mavericks. Furthermore, new acquisition JJ Reddick is also out indefinitely, as there is no timetable for his return. However, the Mavericks will have Luka Doncic and the rest of their starting line-up available.

OKC have their own injury concerns right now. Mike Muscala has been ruled out for the game against the Mavericks. Luguentz Dort suffered a concussion recently and will have to be cleared through the concussion protocol.
Furthermore, Al Horford will not play again for the franchise. Tony Bradley, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Darius Bazley will also be unavailable for the game.

The Dallas Mavericks have failed to show consistency this season. A game against a team like the Thunder, who are missing several key players, could be the momentum builder they need.

However, the Thunder have shown that they are capable of an upset regardless of whom they face. But their injury concerns will be too much for them to overcome.
