With LeBron James missing around nine matches, the Lakers have struggled with closing out matches. Although they have been promising in patches, the team hasn’t found their cohesive rhythm yet. Anthony Davis has been shouldering majority of the responsibilities, while Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony have shown glimpses of their former selves. But late losses to lower rated sides on paper have led to the purple brigade slip to an 8-7 record.

Progressing in a similar trajectory, the Bucks have been unable to build around Giannis Antetokounmpo. Their defensive frailties have been exposed in a biggish manner. In addition, the absence of one of their heroes from last – Khris Middleton hasn’t done them any favors. Well outside the top-8 in the East, Milwaukee will have to capitalize on LA’s turmoil to turn their fortunes around. With both teams coming off blowout losses, the stage is set for a battle.

Lakers vs Bucks Lineups and Prediction: Is LeBron James playing?
As fans can’t wait for the big game, a massive question is yet to be answered. Will LeBron James make his much awaited return against the defending champions? The unfortunate answer to this question is no. Ahead of the big game, James has been confirmed to be out, owing to his abdominal strain. For the men in green, regular starter Brook Lopez will be missing in action. However, the deadly Khris Middleton is set to return from his layoff, and will probably come off the bench.
The Lakers are still listing LeBron James as out vs. the Bucks tomorrow.
