The purple and gold are slowly but surely building up their chemistry with each passing day. They have made some huge alterations to their roster in an effort to win a back-to-back title. As a result, in the first few games, their chemistry was all over the place. But now they are looking a much better team.
While it is good news for LA fans, its naturally bad news for the SpurNation. As of now they are 2-2 this season, but their next few fixtures are not a cakewalk. Furthermore, if they do not make the playoffs this year, they might finally embrace a full rebuild.
Los Angeles Lakers injury updates and predicted lineup
In their last fixture with the Spurs, superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis combined for 46 points. Additionally, Dennis Schroder’s 21 points made the job easier for their two stars. Moving forward, they will hope for similar results as they are once again aiming for the gold this year.

As for their injury updates against the Spurs, LeBron James is listed as questionable for this matchup. He is still facing some troubles with his ankle. Hopefully LBJ will be in uniform for the team so their expected lineup is Dennis Schroder (G), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (G), LeBron James (F), Anthony Davis (F), and Marc Gasol (C).

San Antonio Spurs injury updates and predicted lineup
Being right at .500 is a good sign for the Spurs. Prior to the start of the season, many were expecting them to go on a losing spree, but they have done pretty good so far. However, against the Lakers, they need to have a fabulous all-round game, otherwise they might get another defeat handed to them.

Furthermore, their star forward LaMarcus Aldridge is listed as questionable for their clash against LA. While Aldridge will probably play, the same can’t be said for Quinndary Weatherspoon, who will be sidelined due to a knee injury. So the predicted lineup for the Spurs is Dejounte Murray (G), Lonnie Walker IV (G), DeMar DeRozan (F), Keldon Johnson (F), and LaMarcus Aldridge (C).

Game prediction
The Los Angeles Lakers should have no problem in defeating the Spurs once again. Their team is loaded with star power along with a solid bench, so they are most probably getting their fourth win of the season, unless the Spurs pull off a huge upset.
