Predictions

The Los Angeles Lakers might be suffering from a slump right now but have the quality to instantly get back to winning ways with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Given the quality of both the teams, the champions surely have an edge in this matchup.

Los Angeles Lakers: Injury updates and lineup prediction

The Lakers had a rather lackluster performance against a short-handed Kings side who beat them 110-106. While ‘King James’ would have loved a victory in his return, the 36-year-old rather looked sharp in his return with a 16 point performance with 7 assists and 8 rebounds.

The Lakers have some minor injury concerns against the Raptors. Guard Alex Caruso is questionable as he recovers from a back injury, while veteran Jared Dudley is out indefinitely with a knee problem. LeBron James is also questionable due to an ankle injury.

The Lakers need to get back to winning ways, and with Bron and AD both back from injuries, a win against the Raptors might be a much-needed confidence booster for the team.

After finding some form, the Raptors are back in the trenches with four losses in their last five games. They lost their most recent game against a Jazz side riddled by injuries who defeated them 106-102.

The Raptors have some major injury concerns against the Lakers. Center Chris Boucher is sidelined with a knee injury, guard Paul Watson is out with a knee injury while Gary Trent Jr. is recovering from a leg injury and has thus been left out of the roster.

The Raptors are in terrible form currently, but given the form of their opponents, Toronto can pull off a surprise victory against the Lakers.
