The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight in an inter-conference battle. The Los Angeles Lakers are in a period of struggle right now. On Sunday, the franchise lost LeBron James to injury. This adds to their injury woes, as even Anthony Davis is out, healing from a calf strain, and the Lakers should worry about losing their top-three seed.
The Philadelphia 76ers, on the other hand, have managed to keep their top spot in the East. Despite Joel Embiid’s knee injury, Doc Rivers and the 76ers have been able to get wins whenever they need. Ben Simmons has been playing fantastic basketball and is an early contender to win Defensive Player of the Year.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Philadelphia 76ers – Prediction
The Lakers have been struggling since LeBron James went down. Without either James or Davis in the line-up, the bench and role players for the Lakers haven’t found a winning formula. The 76ers, however, have been able to sustain form despite their major absences. So expect the 76ers to notch an important win on the road over a potential contender.
