The Boston Celtics have had a mixed start this season. After 2 successive defeats, the Celtics won their second match against the Indiana Pacers. The dynamic duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum has worked wonders for the Celtics. They do need some more help from their bench, though.
The Memphis Grizzlies on the other hand have been unfortunate. They were already riddled with injury. The only bright star with them was their sophomore Ja Morant wh0 suffered from an ankle injury against the Nets. Can the Grizzlies cope up with this?
The Grizzlies face the Celtics tonight 7:30 PM ET. Take a look at the probable lineups and the predictions ahead of the game.

Boston Celtics injury updates and predicted lineup
The Boston Celtics are playing with a depleted side from the start of the season. Their third star, Kemba Walker, has been out with a knee injury. He is nowhere near to full fitness and is set to miss 2-4 weeks of action.
#NEBHInjuryReport for tonight vs. Memphis:
Tacko Fall (right eye irritation) – QUESTIONABLE
Javonte Green (Health and Safety protocols) – OUT
Romeo Langford (right wrist surgery) – OUT
Jayson Tatum (left thumb sprain) – QUESTIONABLE— Boston Celtics (@celtics) December 30, 2020
Apart from that, the Celtics are seeing their backup center Tristan Thompson sit out due to a right hamstring strain. Javonte Green is also out due to health and protocol reasons. Their talisman Jayson Tatum is also doubtful for the clash against the Grizzlies.
So far, the Celtics have overly depended on their two stars Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. As they are facing a depleted Grizzlies lineup, it might be a good opportunity to limit their superstars’ playing time.

Predictions
The injury to Ja Morant was the last thing the Grizzlies needed right now. This injury makes them one of the most depleted rosters in the NBA, and thus the Celtics are clear favorites here.
This will be a great opportunity for Brad Stevens to rest his stars and give his younger players to perform. If Brown or Tatum don’t play, only then will the Grizzlies have a chance.
