NBA legend the late Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant has been continuing her husband’s legacy by helping as many people as possible. She runs a nonprofit sports foundation, Mamba-Mambacita Sports, which aims to provide sports education to underprivileged athletes. Vanessa is helping to build basketball courts all over the country in honor of the basketball legend and his daughter Gianna Bryant. Additionally, old courts are being renovated as well.

The basketball courts being built will incorporate the Mamba and Mambacita themes. As a result of this initiative, many young players will benefit. Fans have been appreciating her efforts on social media and her help to the community. 

Body Armor and the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation are collaborating to make a difference in the community through Vanessa’s efforts. According to reports, ten courts will be renovated in total during this time period.

Additionally, the renovation will include nods to Kobe and Gigi, as some pictures have been shared by her. There are already some courts in the process of being developed, and some are already completed.

A gift from Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa Bryant to the people of Philadelphia

Vanessa unveiled a newly renovated basketball court dedicated to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi in the hometown of the Los Angeles Lakers legend. Having shared the video on Instagram, she clearly showed how much support she has from fans around the world. This court was recreated at MLK Recreation Center in Philadelphia. Also, she thanked everyone who contributed greatly to the creation of this effort. In making this happen, Body Armor’s CEO, Mike Repole, had a crucial role to play.

His contribution to the Mamba foundation was not limited to $24 million reportedly. He also ensured that the renovation process ran smoothly. Assuring Bryant’s legacy is passed on to future generations. “I’m going to make sure this foundation gets bigger than the Ronald McDonald House,” during the Boardroom meeting, Repole explained.

In addition, he added that he is dedicated to this initiative and has a specific goal in mind. “I wouldn’t let Body Armor fail with Kobe,” he added, “and I’m going to make sure I’m by [Vanessa’s] side, step by step to make this foundation as big as it can be.”
