Kobe Bryant retired from the Los Angeles Lakers in 2016 after loyally serving the LA side for over 20 years. The 2017 Glen Keane film, ‘Dear Basketball,’ an animation short written and narrated by Bryant, also won an Academy for Best Animated Short. A follow-up podcast was produced by Bryant, which continues to shed light on certain areas of the sport.

‘The Punies,’ is a musical podcast for children, which the former Lakers superstar released in 2018. Recently, Vanessa Bryant reflected on her “special Day” with 3rd graders, reflecting on how The Black Mamba’s podcast continues to inspire the next generation.

Vanessa shared pictures of the perfect day she shared with her daughters and some 3rd-grade students. Adding to this, she captioned the post “Today was a special day with an inspiring group of 3rd-grade students who presented their Punies Lesson Series projects to @nataliabryant, Koko, and me.”
Vanessa further mentioned that the family was ecstatic during the event. “We saw posters full of art, Kahoot comprehension games, board games, and podcasts that they created wrote, and performed.”
Vanessa also recalled the Lakers legend’s visit to the exact school a few years back. Moreover, the comment section of the post erupted, receiving immense amounts of love and appreciation from the fans.
