Arguably the first rule of being a parent is never wake a sleeping kid. That is what most parents would likely suggest. Because once you wake them up, there’s no putting them back to sleep without exhausting yourself. Therefore, it might be understandable why Ayesha Curry was visibly upset with her husband, Stephen Curry.

Western Conference teams Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns faced each other in their first regular season game of the new season on October 20. It sure is evident that both Mavs and Suns’ fans were hyped up to watch their favorite teams battle it out?on the court. And so was the Golden State Warriors superstar.

Stephen Curry posted two Instagram stories showing him watching the game at home. The first video was a close-up of Suns star Damion Lee on TV. Given that Lee is Steph’s brother-in-law, fans probably knew which team he was rooting for. However, the second video showed Ayesha somewhat bothered by the four-time champion’s actions. When the Phoenix Suns emerged as the winners by 107-105, Curry couldn’t contain his excitement. As he continued screaming at the top of his lungs to celebrate the win, his wife Ayesha called out to him from behind asking him to stop.

However, Steph continued shouting, “C’mon! Yay Dam! Stick with it! Stick with it! The kid’s asleep! I don’t care! Stick with it!”?

In response, Ayesha said, “First of all, give credit where credit is due.”
