Stephen curry and Ayesha Curry joined the Athletics Nation in a camp for local kids. Ayesha Curry took Instagram to share the news of hosting the couple’s first-ever Eat-Learn-Play day. Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha spent the entire day giving back to the Oakland Community.

Her Instagram post showcased the several engagements that the couple took part in. Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry took 1000 kids from the local community on a day out in the Athletics MLB stadium. The Coliseum was vibrant and full of energy as the Currys celebrated the success of their foundation.

Stephen Curry and Ayesha made the first pitch on the field. Ayesha’s pitch was far more accurate than Stephen Curry’s wonky throw. Curry was wearing a jersey with the words ‘Eat-Learn-Play’. The whole theme revolved around giving the 1000 kids a day they would remember. Painting murals, listening to stories, and watching the Athletics take a win over the Astros was the entire story of the day.

The foundation was created in 2019 and was involved in the 2020 pandemic support. Curry spent the pandemic years on feeding families by paying hard-hit restaurants to produce meals. Through this foundation, more than 50,000 free books were distributed throughout the community in an initiative called the ‘The Little Town Libraries.’?

Steph and Ayesha were the stars of the day as they interacted with over 1000 kids. The foundation was formed to tackle and end childhood hunger. Stephen Curry also took a few shots in the batting cage, testing his swing. Curry’s pitch, however, became the talk of the town.?

Ayesha Curry took to Instagram to share her thoughts on an eventful day. She looked back on how engaging it was for the 1000 kids from the local community. Golden State Warriors had their home in Oakland for years before they shifted to Chase Center in San Francisco. Oakland and Oracle will always have a special place for the Curry family.

Ayesha wrote, “This week, Stephen and I had an epic summer day hosting more than 1,000 kids from Oakland summer camps at our first-ever Eat. Learn. Play. Day at the Ballpark with the?@athletics. Spending the day eating, learning, and playing with kids from our community was the perfect way to celebrate?@eatlearnplay’s?third anniversary.”

The day was full of engaging activities for the kids. Ayesha took her time to paint a mural with the children, do activities and motivate them.

Former teammate Juan Toscano-Anderson took to Twitter to talk about Stephen Curry‘s pitch. The Los Angeles Laker man hysterically called out Stephen’s form and bantered with the Warrior.

It is exceptional to see that Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry are still actively engaging in the betterment of Oakland. Even though the Warriors have found a new home, Steph and Ayesha have always had a special place for Oakland.
