Michael Jordan has had a successful career in basketball, winning 6 NBA championships in his 15 seasons. He has been able to steal the hearts of many fans during his time in the NBA and has produced stats that have been called legendary. The first 13 seasons of his NBA career were spent with the Chicago Bulls and the final two years with the Washington Wizards. The most notable achievements of his career include winning five MVP awards, six Finals MVP awards, and three All-Star MVP awards.
Along with his achievement on the hardwood, he also had an ardor for acting within him. Thus, he made his first attempt at acting in 1996 when he appeared in Space Jam. Due to the film, he was able to earn a good amount of stardom from his first acting job aside from his basketball fame.

Moreover, the film has become a worldwide favorite, with fans in a myriad of countries. A tribute to Jordan was recently paid by Lakeland Magic and Windy City Bulls’ G-League teams in honor of Jordan’s ‘Space Jam’. Despite their efforts, it didn’t seem to impress the fans in any way possible. A lot of criticism was voiced on social media regarding this match.

A picture was recently shared on social media that showed Bulls and Magic players wearing themed jerseys illustrating some characters from the movie. As referred to in the caption of the picture, “A blast from the past”.

In spite of the great initiative by the players, it appears that fans were not pleased with the game or how they were dressed. There were even some who called them cartoons. Others appreciated the idea but were disappointed with the way it was executed.
