The NBA trade deadline has lived up to expectations. A few blockbuster trades this season have sent shivers down fans’ spines. If you are a fan of a team in the Western Conference, then the second half of the season will likely be a roller coaster for you. Considering the new addition to the teams in the West, fans believe the conference is now ‘loaded’ with talent. One such latest addition to LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers is the Orlando Magic?center, Mo Bamba.?

With just less than two hours before the deadline, the Lakers acquired the 24-year-old. A recent picture of Bamba ready to move to LA has caught the attention of NBA buffs. Fans seemingly trolled the 7’0″ center for his weird pose.?

Mo Bamba was traded to the Lakers for defensive guard Patrick Beverly and a draft pick earlier today. Beverly’s tenure with the Lakers did not even last for one entire season. Though the 6’2″ guard was happy to play with D’Angelo Russell again, the Lakers did not let that happen. However, Lakers fans are happy with their new addition. Many believe he can be a huge support to Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

While Bamba is averaging 7.8 points this season with a shooting efficiency of 50%, he will be of great use on the defensive side due to his wingspan. Bamba can possibly fit in the place of Thomas Bryant after the latter was traded to the Denver Nuggets earlier today. Bamba continues to receive the spotlight after his altercation with Minnesota Timberwolves guard Austin Rivers.?

A look into the Lakers’ new additions

After months of trying to make moves that will help them turn their season around, fans believe GM Rob Pelinka and the Lakers front office finally delivered at the right time. Rui Hachimura, D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, Davon Reed, and Mo Bamba stand as the latest additions to the purple and gold roster. Though fans could not witness a Kyrie Irving-LeBron James reunion in LA, they are happy to have veteran shooter Russell back.
