DeMar DeRozan is one of the more famous players on the Chicago Bulls roster. DeRozan is often a key player for the Bulls alongside other stars like Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine. The 32-year-old DeRozan plays as a shooting guard or sometimes a small forward. He has played for the United States national team during the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics.
DeRozan played for the University of South California when in college. He reportedly wanted to play for USC over North Carolina and Arizona State. DeRozan had an excellent debut game for the USC against the Azusa Pacific. He led the USC scoring a team-high 21 points with seven rebounds.

Around October 2019, reports suggested that DeMar DeRozan had inked a new tattoo on his arm. On closer inspection, they revealed it to be a ‘Joker’ tattoo. The massive Joker tattoo came to light when DeRozan was in a San Antonio Spurs media day photoshoot.
His right arm features the extensive Joker tattoo, which also features the words, “Before you judge me, make sure you’re perfect.” These tattooed words featured on his arm happen to be one of many famous dialogues by the Joker in ‘The Dark Knight Trilogy’ film series.

What is the tattoo on DeRozan?
The tattoo on DeMar DeRozan is a face of the late actor Heath Ledger as one of his movie characters. The character called the ‘Joker’ features in DC Comics and in the DC Cinematic Universe as the arch nemesis of the popular comic superhero Batman.
Heath Ledger tragically passed away in 2008 and posthumously received an Oscar for his performance as the Joker in ‘The Dark Knight’.

DeRozan started his NBA career in 2009 with the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors selected him as the ninth overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. He left the Raptors in 2018 to join the San Antonio Spurs for three seasons. In August 2021, the Spurs traded DeRozan to the Chicago Bulls in a sign-and-trade deal. He scored a season high 38 points against the Los Angeles Lakers, and guided the Bulls to a victory at the Staples Center.
