Lakers fans found an escape to let out their frustration for their team’s defeat against Boston Celtics. No fan goes easy with the blatant attack aimed at their idol. And LeBron James’ fans are not any different. Currently, at the 12th position in the Western Conference, the Lakers have an 11-16 record after their defeat against the Celtics. Contrarily, The Celtics have the best league record at the top of the Eastern Conference standings with a 22-7 record.

After the match, former Celtics small forward Paul Pierce couldn’t stop himself from taking a dig at his perennial rival LeBron James. A 10-second video of Pierce’s trash talk from the suite has been doing rounds on social media. He mocked James’ signature celebration and said, “That’s game, baby. Hey LeBron, that’s game.” As a result, LeBron fans lined up with trolls and reactions to the video.

Despite being a legendary player with a 10-time all-star, first ballot Hall of Famer, ‘The Truth’ had stepped into a lot of controversies. He once refused to include King James in his 5 all-time best basketball players. But, in a Cedric Maxwell podcast, in 2021, he said, “I appreciate being there to face a guy of that caliber“. He further added, “I have nothing against LeBron James“.

Reacting to the video, one fan tweeted,” Who is that homeless man.” While another fan commented, “What did Paul Piece (Pierce) achieve in life.” The trolls keep adding to the 10-second video as the fans never settled.

Jayson Tatum saves the day for the Celtics

The Celtics made a 20 points lead in the third quarter, as they marched towards a comfortable victory. But the Lakers bounced back with 12 point lead in the fourth quarter. While Boston required a game-tying shot in the last seconds, Jayson Tatum delivered it. Notably, the Lakers lost the game by a small margin of 4 points. ‘The chosen one” managed to deliver a promising performance with 33 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists. The Celtics’ power forward Tatum emerged as the best player of the game with 44 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.
