The Golden State Warriors are now on a four-game losing streak. From being one of the favorites this season to losing six of nine games does not reflect well on their near spotless reputation. Stephen Curry, Steve Kerr, and Draymond Green faced the media after such a poor performance and answered their questions. On one hand, Steph stated that the squad does not want to make ‘insane’ decisions, while Green criticized the team’s youngsters.

On Thursday night, the Warriors lost to the Orlando Magic by one point, the final score was 130-129. This was really disheartening for both the supporters and the team. Moreover, Steph Curry gave one of the best performances of this season, scoring 39 points, 3 rebounds, and 9 assists. Klay Thompson dropped 27 points. But it wasn’t enough to overcome the Magic’s combined team effort.

Following a disappointing defeat, Stephen Curry, Steve Kerr, and Draymond Green were questioned by the media about the team’s poor performance.

When questioned about the adjustments to Golden State’s bench units, which wasted repeated double-digit leads, Curry and the starters built up against Orlando, Curry said, “We don?t wanna be insane and do the same thing and keep expecting different results.” The Dubs superstar went on to add, “Everybody in that locker room has to figure it out. That?s what the job requires. We understand that.?

Steve Kerr did not mention any specific players. But it appears like 7-footer James Wiseman will not be in the lineup against the New Orleans Pelicans in their next game. Draymond Green, who has not been very outstanding this season, took a direct shot at the team’s young players. Green said, “Yes, in fact, it is some of their faults. It is definitely some of our young guys? fault,? And then said, ?But it?s also some of my fault, some of Steph?s fault, some of Klay?s fault.?

The squad simply cannot win if only the veteran players perform well. Furthermore, the young players should shoulder some responsibility. It will be interesting to observe how the team develops a fresh strategy for their upcoming games.
