Breanna Stewart from the Seattle Storm was the first to voice out on the need for female players to receive a charter flight. The WNBA star mentioned on her Twitter,?“I would love to be part of a deal that helps subsidize charter travel for the entire WNBA.“. She added,?“I would contribute my NIL, posts + production hrs to ensure we all travel in a way that prioritizes player health + safety, which ultimately results in a better product.”?
Numerous other players, joined Breanna Stewart to make a mini-movement. One such latest addition to the movement is Irving. Irving addressed the media, “We gotta get something done, and I?m with them no matter how much it costs per se. I think we could all collectively come together and make something very doable happen.”. Though Irving is receiving a lot of love for voicing out, the WNBA league is not.
