The reporter asked Smith if he could beat Michael Jordan one-on-one. He replied, “How old is he?..”He’s not beating me right now, no. I’m gonna beat him.” The reporter highlighted that it was MJ’s birthday, and he replied, “Happy birthday, MJ. I’m beating you in one-on-one right now. For sure. A thousand percent.

The reporter further asked if Jordan could drop any buckets against him. Smith replied, “He might make something…If a 60-year-old beat me, I need to hang it up.” Following the interview, NBA All-Star’s statement surfaced on Twitter and attracted a flurry of opinions from fans.
