According to Front Office Sports, the condo is owned by NFL quarterback Cam Newton, who bought it in 2012 for a staggering $1.6 million. However, with the curtains being drawn on Cam Newton’s career in Charlotte, he listed the condo for sale in 2019.

Initially, there was a $3.2 million price tag on the condo, but since that time the price has dropped to around $2.6 million. Well, since Newton couldn’t find a potential buyer for his condo, he struck a deal with the 19-year-old prodigy.

The condo is located in a boutique building called “The Trust” in the uptown neighborhood. The place, known for attracting celebrities and athletes over the years, was an obvious pick for LaMelo.
