NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley are two of the most outspoken personalities in the world. More often than not, they face a lot of flak for their opinions. For instance, their comments on Kyrie Irving are bringing in a lot of hate.
Last month, Irving was scrutinized for his apparent anti-semitic view. He had posted the link to a highly controversial film on his Twitter that offended a lot of people. O’Neal and Barkley were quick to offer their reactions.

Former NBA champion John Salley is not a fan of what Shaq and Chuck said. They had called him an ‘idiot’ which didn’t sit well with Salley. During a recent interview, he spoke his mind on their comments.

Kyrie Irving and his recent antics have the whole world talking. He posted the link to a highly controversial film that is apparently anti-semitic. The Brooklyn Nets owner and the NBA commissioner released official statements condemning his views.

As a result, he was banned for a number of matches. NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley talked about Irving and called him an ‘idiot’ on ‘Inside the NBA’.
Their comments brought in a lot of hate and recently John Salley chimed in on the debate. During an interview with ‘djvlad’, Salley bashed Shaq and Chuck.
Salley said, “When they called Kyrie an idiot, they didn’t look at everything. They just looked at it, had a quick response, and said it and got out of a worm. I think they were wrong for that, I don’t think they should have said that.”

Interestingly enough, all the backlash on their comments urged Shaquille O’Neal to clarify his statements. During a segment of ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, he revealed why he called Irving an ‘idiot‘. According to the four-time NBA champion, he meant Irving shouldn’t do anything that’s going to blemish his name.
