While verbal disputes have been known to be a common occurrence during practices, the incident might be deemed as taking a step too far. Fans react to Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole

The team is currently working out the situation and will hopefully work out the differences before the season starts. Additionally, the Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and GM Bob Myers have stated that they are positive that the team will be able to get over the incident without any issues.

Meanwhile, NBA fans have expressed mixed reactions on the incident. Additionally, some even compared Green to Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. MJ too was involved in a physical confrontation with a former Bulls teammate who is coincidentally the head coach of the Warriors. In 1995, Jordan struck Steve Kerr in the eye during the Bulls practice, after Kerr hit Jordan in the chest. His Airness reportedly apologized to Kerr and regretted his actions. However, no disciplinary action was seemingly taken against MJ at the time. This might be the reason some fans felt the need to compare the two incidents. Let’s take a look at some of the tweets.
