However, a recent Michael Jordan update left LeBron James fans fuming as they flooded the comments section on Twitter with their harsh opinions. Moreover, they were seemingly upset that the MJ update dropped almost parallel to ‘King James’ historic moment, and some blamed MJ for his “insecurity”. 

The Los Angeles Lakers great has had an eventful season so far as he impressed the NBA world with consistent performances and records. Notably, the 19x NBA All-Star recently achieved the massive feat of scoring 40+ scores against all NBA teams. Additionally, the Lakers star is all set to surpass the monumental NBA record held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. James is only 62 points short of Abdul-Jabbar to become the all-time leading points scorer in the NBA.

ESPN added their network would feature highlights and content related to the Chicago Bulls legend throughout the day. However, when a Twitter handle shared the update on their timeline, the fans swarmed the comments with opinions.

Reacting to the tweet, one user said, “Just a coincidence that this happening when Lebron is about to pass Kareem in all time points right?” Another user went a notch up and blamed MJ for insecurity, “Anything to discredit LeBron breaking the scoring record, MJ showing his insecurities lately.”
