Shaunie paid an emotional tribute to her father through her Instagram on his sudden passing in 2022. She compiled several images of her father and penned an emotional note. The post’s caption read, “The first man I ever loved is gone…My goal is to continue making you proud…. I Love you, Daddy.” However, the legendary American singer-actor Diana Ross took Shaunie for a stroll on memory lane with her heart-warming social media post.

On the 50th anniversary of the iconic 1972 film Lady sings the blues, Diana Ross took to her Instagram to share the film’s trailer. Notably, Diana Ross won the Academy award for best actress for this film. She also wrote, “It’s hard for me to believe that it was 50 years ago. The songs are so fresh… they feel brand new.”

She also shared an emotional message after the wedding. She said, “He’s there. I don’t know if the wind was a nod for my dad or those couple of little raindrops that I felt, but either way, he was there.”
