The Tokyo Olympics 2020 are finally underway. With multiple athletes all across the globe participating in variety of sports, With day 1 of the Olympics concluded, events like Men’s basketball finally kick off tomorrow.

USA Men’s basketball team who have won three gold medals in a row now, are in pursuit of their fourth first place finish in the Olympics. Placed in group A, the record champions play their first game against the France tonight.

When and Where to watch Tokyo Olympics 2020 battle between Team USA vs Team France

In a group existing of USA, France, Czech Republic and Iran, this matchup between the France and US team is by far the closest on paper. The favorites US have one of the most stacked roster in the Olympics.

This game between the French national team and the US Basketball team is scheduled for a 8:00 AM EST broadcast. Basketball fans can view the game in multiple platforms. For TV viewers the game will be broadcasted in NBC.

With multiple All-Stars like Jayson Tatum, Bam Adebayo and Zach LaVine and couple of MVP calibre players like Kevin Durant and Damian Lillard, USA basketball have great depth in their side. A stacked team on both ends of the floor, USA can lockdown any team and can outscore them as well. But all of it might come down to how focused the team is against the European giants.

Underestimating a team like France might not be wise who are led by Rudy Gobert. Gobert who won the Defensive Player of the Year trophy with the Jazz last season, is the biggest star in French basketball right now. Given the lack of size in the US basketball team, the Frenchman might make some noise for Les Bleus.
