She be looking at you to see how it is? That what man she wants? You don’t want her to be like he gets money from Uncle Dwyane when you need something. You want to know you get up every day you go work, you go grind to make sure she has what she needs. That’s what her man should do.”

With these honest words, he tries to make his brother realize the importance of financial independence. He says that it will instill a sense of pride not just in him, but his daughter too.
