Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry has missed out on a month of time on the floor. Curry sustained a gruesome injury to his leg while playing against the Dallas Mavericks on February 4. Since then, he has been sidelined from the Warriors lineup as the rest of the roster holds their ground during his absence. However, an update on Curry’s return has Warriors fans jumping out of their seats while Lakers fans show concern.
The Warriors will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday in their final matchup of the regular season. While the Lakers have won two of the three games this year, the Warriors will be hoping to tie the season series heading into the Playoffs. Furthermore, Curry’s probable return to the court will increase the Warriors fans’ hopes.

According to a report by Chris Haynes, the Warriors list Stephen Curry as probable for the Sunday game. Even without their leading scorer, the Warriors are on a five-game winning streak. In contrast, the Lakers are still struggling to string together a series of wins. And with the return of Curry, fans are convinced that the Warriors will go home with a victory.
Moreover, according to the injury reports, all three stars of the Los Angeles Lakers are either ruled out or probable for the Warriors game. And Lakers fans are clearly not happy with it.

The Warriors in Curry’s absence
Even with Stephen Curry in the starting lineup, the Warriors had a hard time moving up in the Western Conference. However, since his injury, Golden State has jumped five spots, going from the 10th seed to the fifth seed in the West.
Klay Thompson has really taken on a leadership role in Curry’s absence and has also become the first option for the team on offense. Other bright spots for the Warriors have been Jordan Poole and Donte DiVincenzo, who have scored in bunches when the team has needed it the most.
