So, after her 23rd Grand Slam victory in the Australian Open, she was showered with praise from all around the world. After the same, a special gift from Michael Jordan also greeted her.
It took place during an interview Serena Williams was on with SportsCenter after her win. There, she received a special gift in a white box with only the number 23 written. Serena had started getting anxious upon seeing the box. She said, “What is this guys? I don’t like surprises!”

Upon opening the gift she understood that it was from Michael Jordan. It contained the pair of shoes that she liked putting on after games. They were also in her favorite color. The box also contained a letter from MJ himself. He said, “Congratulations on winning number 23.”
